It's kinda dirty and disgusting I live 10 miles away and have never been. There is a Sheraton right across from it I think. [ Reply | More ]

love this..you've never been and you know *all* about it? My sis lived about 1/2 mile away and held a season pass for years. It gets very crowded on weekends and afternoons (and as my sister would say, full of pushy, urban New Yorkers (!) ). Go as early.... as soon as the park opens....if you are staying overnight, use the morning to your advantage. The Sheraton is fine. [ Reply | More ]

i disagree about it being dirty. my DD has loved it there since she was 2 and we've gone a few times. i wouldn't stay there though; it's an easy day trip from NYC and I don't think you'd really want to do more than one day anyway. they are so worn out that the ride back is a breeze.
