My DH spends a lot of time wuth DC. He's a teacher and has always been comfortable with DC (including our own, thank goodness!). He's a terrible housekeeper, though. [ Reply | More ]

He barely helps with the house -- but does help with DC (which, in turn, gives me time to deal with the house). He does some things -- he has been "trained" to put dishes in the DW, but would never even think to run it. He feeds DC (and bathes them every day -- I hate bath time!). [ Reply | More ]

DH is very helpful on HIS terms and HIS way. He will cook, clean, organize - do just about anything providing it's his idea. If I ask for help in a specific area, it's sure to go undone. [ Reply | More ]

he would LOVE that! He mopped the kitchen floor once and the next day ds spilled milk all over. He didn't yell but he was soo upset. I told this is why I get tired you have to do these things everyday. [ Reply | More ]

np: I truly believe my kitchen floor has a mopping jinx. Every time I mop it, someone spills milk that night. Every single time - and they don't spill milk other times. Sometimes I'm tempted to throw some milk in the corner as soon as I'm done mopping to see if I can break the curse. [ Reply | More ]

mine does. he cooks, does laundry, unloads dishes, whatever, and takes ds out for afternoons/mornings whatever so I can have some time. we do get in scuffles sometimes about who has more time alone, but never over household chores. [ Reply | More ]
