I think the G&T process was hugely improved this year, with the exception of two factors: 1) DOE allowed for prepping by not stopping dissemination of BRSA and KTSS. 2) placements came a bit late. otherwise, I think they did an admirable job. the goals they set are likewise laudable. i don't think scores should be everything considering how flawed the tests are and how easy it is to cheat. i also disagree with the sib policy. if there's a tie, the sib is in. otherwise, letting a 90-scoring sib in over a 95-scoring non-sib is a joke. [ Reply | More

it's actually over a 99-scoring non-sib. if a dc scores 99 and fc's ll, for instance, a 90-scoring sib still gets first dibs. [ Reply | More
