I waited til 3 yo to potty train both of my ds's. DD is 15 mos and now when I tell her I have to go to the potty, she runs into the bathroom and backs up to the toilet...so funny. I hate the idea of having a kiddie potty in the bathroom until absolutely necessary....2 1/2 is the normal/to late age for potty training girls, right? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I have a little girl who's been wanting to potty train since she was 1 1/2. I waited until now-22 mo. old- to finally let her. She is 2 weeks into it and loving it.She had had one accident. I would recommend to wait till at least 2 years old. But if they show a strong urge too, then go ahead and try close to 2 years of age. [ Reply | More
