is it possible for you to believe that some people would be genuinely happy for you? Or even not care? I think your assumptions are so weird that everyone is so invested in your good fortune. The more cool you are about it, the less everyone will care. By being unnaturally secretive about it, people will register that as gloating as much as they would register actual gloating. I am excited and thrilled. We did get a good outcome and it was not easy. Took a lot of work and luck and we ended up at a place we never even considered initially. Feel great knowing dc will be in a great setting in September. [ Reply | More

no, quite the opposite. just glad that we got a good placement and dc does not have to to our crap zoned school. it is not easy in this environment when you are not rich, not connected and not lucky in the lottery. not too much is left and we nabbed a good spot. [ Reply | More
