how do i know if my bf is just really sick and stressed and in a terrible mood for some steriod meds he was just put on OR he is trying to be so cold to me that i just break it off with him? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

but the thing is, he is really being mean to me, doesn't want to talk, etc...i want to make sure its not just his M.O. to get me to break up with him. they aren't anabolic steriods, they are the other kind that doctors give you for sinus stuff, but steriods nonetheless [ Reply | More

This was totally my mother when she was on oral steroids b/c of poison ivy. She would pick fights and be completely nasty to my step-dad. He was supper worried until he read the side-effects. For a day or two, he thought that they were going to have to get a divorce. It is totally normal. If this behavior didn't exist before the steroids, then I would wait till he goes off before you make any decisions. [ Reply | More

ita, just don't pick fights right now. Try not to be around too much. I would worry too much about him breaking up with you, and if he does, he will probably recognize that he was loopy while he was on the meds. Don't take anything personally that he says to you. [ Reply | More
