17mo is still chubby. is this ok? have seen a ton of articles on childhood obesity lately and wondering if I should be concerned. seems all other toddlers are skinny by now. started walking 2 mos ago and db is VERY active. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

depends on what is chubby to you. Chubby to my grandmother is what I consider really fat but in her mind it's not. I think once your dc starts really running around, the weight will even out [ Reply | More ]

sounds fine. My kids were never big to start with but my niece was. Once she was walking and running, she stretched out and her babyfat disappeared around 2.5 [ Reply | More ]

my DS had that chubby baby look until 3 and then thinned out. Second one seems to be on the same path. I wouldn't worry about it. [ Reply | More ]
