I was just kidding around. I know how you feel though. Sometimes I feel like my soul is just going to crumble if I look too closely at the pain in this world and I honestly wonder why I had children. My dd had viral encephalitis so, I know exactly how you feel. It interesting because my perspective on going through that experience is so opposite of yours. I honestly felt it was a blessing because she came out of the experience so differently. I had an equally terrifying experience with my husband and the same end result. They caught things that could have killed him - - putting aside man's inhumanity to man (which is ageless), the earth-shattering moments in our own lives tend to end up shifting something that may have needed shifting.
