Will a Britax marathon car seat fit in an airplanse seat? It's so big! Also - do I have to worry about mclaren stroller getting damaged if I check it curbside? Is it safer to check at gate? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

strollers get broken easily. I always took mine apart and put it back in the original box for air travel. You car seat has to be flight approved. There should be a label on the side/back or bottom sayin if it is. Sometimes a picture of an airplane. IF it is then it will fit. [ Reply | More ]

i always gate check the stroller as having it in the airport is pretty necessary. that being said, i got the volo for travel bc i didn't want to deal w the $300 techno getting damaged. the onyl thing to happen to the volo was one brake broke off and that was pretty cheap to get fixed. if you are goign to travel w a more expensive maclaren, get the travel bag AND still gate check it.
