i need suggestions for creative ways to store my 2 year old ds's stuffed animals. I would throw them all away because they just collect dust and take up space in our small apartment, but my family and friends encourge me to save them for sentimental value. I know he will just get more over the years anyway. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

They make this haning thing that is just a straight line from the ceiling and has clips on it. But you could make your own with some ribbon and sew some clips on or use cloethes pins [ Reply | More ]

Don't know the name but there is a bean bag (without the beans) that is for soft toy storage, it's made from plush material. Can be filled with toys and then sat on or played with. [ Reply | More ]

I have it. It's made by boon and is great because you can throw all the stuffed animals in and then sit on it. [ Reply | More ]

did your ds actually like his stuffed animals? Mine never did -- he just tossed them aside. For reasons I don't know, I still have them and store them in a mesh receptacle I got from the Container Store. [ Reply | More ]

I don't think that it is useful to keep them unless they really love them. My mom threw out all of mine, and I only miss two of them. I doubt he has emotional attachment to every single one [ Reply | More ]

DD has a few that she's consistently played with--these are on her bed, and a few others we're hanging on to for sentimental reasons--these are in a fabric box in her closet from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. [ Reply | More ]

your family and friends are clueless (mom of 6 and 9 yo)...get rid fo most of them and tell your ILs not to buy any more. If dc gets a new one in, one goes out [ Reply | More ]
