we visited it last fall and loved it. Probably wouldn't describe LS as progressive though - pretty traditional. [ Reply | More ]

Is "scrunchy" a euphemism for something? Enlighten me. [ Reply | More ]

poster is saying in a prejudice way that the school is very jewish. a scrunch is an oversized hairband used by people with frizzy hair as a ponytail holder. [ Reply | More ]

It's a traditional co-ed school in Riverdale. Competitive atmosphere, big on piling on the HW, good sports teams. [ Reply | More ]

Would not be for us. Have you looked at Friend's Seminary, Little Red School House, St. Ann's, Brooklyn Friend's. These are wonderful schools that will respect your child's autonomy...teaching learning skills and not with drills. [ Reply | More ]
