i feel like i'm in still in high school! a mommy friend is mad at me b/c she thinks i've been blowing her off. i tried explaining that she is just much more social than i am and that i'm happy to be alone sometimes whereas she needs plans all the time. now, she's not returning my 2 phone calls and i feel so sick about it! she's such a bully in my town too and talks about everyone all the time. can only imaging what she's saying about me! i'm off for the summer and can't believe it but i really need to be back at work! omg - i'm having one of those high school periods right now, too. it really never ends completely. i'm sorry. it sucks but you just have to get through it and hope you can return to adulthood for a while before the next high school incident rolls around. [ Reply | More

or: oh - i have plenty of good friends. but i still have to deal with the parents of all my kids' school friends. you can't really pick those. and the drama b/t women who volunteer at the schools can be so petty. it bothered me w/dc #1 but i've learned to stay out and wait for it to pass.
