Second Tiers: St Anns, NBS, St B, Packer - I don't think the others belong in the same category as these schools [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

NBS is far above CSH/MM. Of course, SA beats Packer, but given that Brooklyn is a big boro and we need to give 2 schools above 3rd tier. [ Reply | More ]

you need to give brooklyn two 2nd tiered schools? Even if they aren't close to 2nd tier? odd. NBS is not far above CSH by a mile. Not a CSH grad or mom just saying. Packer is...pretty low down [ Reply | More ]

I figured Brooklyn has so many families and not that many great public options, so they'd send their bright kids to St Anns and they can't all get in, so they gotta spill over to Packer. But I can drop Packer. [ Reply | More ]

>and CSH/MM being Catholic, many non-Catholics with smart girls may choose other schools - not a strong draw to send dd's there. [ Reply | More ]

Packer got 40+ kids to ivy in 2007. Not sure how big the school is but that is a pretty good number. [ Reply | More ]
