Anyone have kids that didn't get along very young that grew out of it. 4.5 yo DD is overall a great kid, but she is so mean to her almost 2 yo sister and always has been. She yells at her, gives her secret pinches, hits and head butts when she thinks we're not looking and is soooo jealous of her. I'll put dresses on them and she'll say "mine is prettier than hers, right?" etc. All the time. Now that the baby is a little older, they play together a bit, but really there's not much love there. Everyone else I know seems to have kids that get a long at least most of the time. Please give me happy endings! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Probably not quite what you want to hear but I was horrendous to my sister (3 years younger). By the time I got to high school I just started ignoring her completely and we didn't become close until we were both out of college (but are really close now!) [ Reply | More
