Need travelling with baby advice: I have a bridal shower that I need to attend in Boston. I am travelling on Amtrak from Newark to Boston. I am breastfeeding my 5 mo. DH wants me to leave dd, but how would I pump on a train and then at the bridal shower (its at someone's home). Then I would need to take the subway (red line) to the bridal shower, safe, thoughts? Need any advice. Thanks so much! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I had an avent handpump I used when I traveled, I found it easier. Then you could pump in the train bathroom and at the house. You'd have to carry a cold pack;and freeze what you had pumped when you arrived [ Reply | More ]

the electric one will be faster, but I'm not sure there'd be anywhere to use it on the train. [ Reply | More ]

op: I'm torn on bringing baby or not. I would think it would be easiest, in terms of breastfeeding. But what would i have to do if I did not? [ Reply | More ]
