I am considering buying a Bug just as a status thing. I am pg with #3, hope this is my last db, and have a perfectly great P&T already. Please flame some sense into me. The hype over the Bug is such that I have convinced myself that I may be missing something with out it. I have never had stroller fever before, is this because I see this as my last pg and my last chance to buy all these cute baby things? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I'm pg with my 3rd and never had the urge for a bug. They just don't appeal to me. I don't buy things just because it's the fad or norm. I know too many ppl with it that have 2 yr olds that look like they can't fit in it anymore. That's a shit load of money for something that you can't get a good 4 yrs out of and isn't lightweight or bus friendly. I'm in Manhattan and need to have the easy of a good stroller that I can fold in a pinch to get on the bus or taxi. Also one that's comfy for my dc for long walks. [ Reply | More

op: Thanks for the responses. I never thought the bug was cute before and it has been around forever, without ever tempting me. My biggest issue is that it is not light or practical for someone like me who has other children. I think it must be first time moms who don't have the point of reference of second seats or folds up to nothing and is light like my Volo. So thanks. For now I think the urge is passing.
