So you're really not supposed to gain much in 1st tri per the books, and yet I am ALWAYS super hungry. what to do? Trying to focus on fruits and veg to extent I can tolerate. Gained SO MUCH w my 1st preg.... [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

yes. I gained a lot during all my three pregnancies and once I weaned them I took care of my body again. No problem. I let nature take it turn when it comes to pregnancy and breast feeding. [ Reply | More ]

Eat small amounts more often. I find if I eat a good breakfast - make sure ot have fiber and/or protein. Then fruit mid morning I am OK until lunch. Then healthy lunch and afternoon snack. I end up eating ever 2 hours or so. [ Reply | More ]

listen, why do you care how much weight you gained last time or will gain this time. You are pregnant. Let your body take care of that. Once you give birth and weaned the kid you can get back to whatever you think is ideal for you. Until then, don't worry about that. [ Reply | More ]
