We're desperate to find a place to go for a week in August. Thinking something like The Tyler Place (they're booked). DH, myself, 5yo girl and 2yo boy. We've had a bad year and need something totally fun, especially for the kids. Live in NYC. Please help! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

you could still go up to that area -- lake champlain has lots of cottage rentals. im sure you could get a good deal on something nice at the (relatively) last minute. it wouldn't have all the organized activities or babysitting, but you could get lakefront for swimming, visit farms in the area. i love it up there. btw - have you been to the tyler place before? we've considered it the past couple of years but haven't actually been. Cape Cod. I prefer to rent cottages, but try a resort like Ocean Edge. [ Reply | More ]
