DH and I have poor to nonexistent sex life. He is not interested in sex w/ me (finds me unattractive but great mother, wife, etc.). I offered him a blow job out of the blue yesterday when I lost a bet...and he hasn't collected. Wouldn't most guys want a bj even if they dont find their wives attractive? I disagree. I have a wonderful healthy marriage, but every now and then we have our dry spells. A REALLY long one after our baby was born. I was at brunch with a bunch of friends today. No one is passionatly attracted to our husbands any more, but that has been replaced with an intense love and comfort which is really much better for a life long relationship. [ Reply | More

Maybe it's that you don't FEEL attractive, but you really are. Do you get enough exercise. A good yoga class helps me feel attractive and sexual. That vibe will rub off on him. [ Reply | More

Hey, I'm so sorry to hear you say you're not especially attractive to yourself. It's bad enough to hear this from your partner. Your housewifery and great kids cannot replace or supply a healthy self-love.
