anyone ever had lyme disease? what were your early symptoms? i live in a pretty low-risk area (central virginia), and my risk is further lowered by not spending much time outside. still, i'm 23w pg, and prone to freaking out about illnesses right now--have been achy and had flu-symptoms for 3 days, and terrified it's lyme disease. (grew up in CT, so i may be hard-wired to worry about lyme.) [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

When my cousin got it, his first real symptom (aside from flu symptoms) was that his leg got puffy and it was hard to walk, it wasn't just achy. [ Reply | More
