My dh's father is dying....i know this sounds silly but how do i help dh through this. We have a 15mo and I travel out to nj with dh to visit his dad and try to be there amap but i dont' know how to talk to him or console him. any advice? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

my hubby got me through my dad's death; he gave alone time for my family when we needed it, he held my hand, listened, talked to my dad, promised to take care of me to my dad, supported my mom with advice when she needed it. He was emotionally present, very grounded. This is what hubby needs IMO. Peace to you... [ Reply | More ]
