db is 4 days old - if she is not sleeping, she is nursing - on a few occassions i will nurse for a good long while she may actually fall asleep at breast and the minute i move her she starts freaking out - shaking her head looking to put something in her mouth. today i literally think she has been nursing since 11 am. wwyd? It will get easier. My dc #1 was similar and it was tough at the time. I never used pacifiers but you might want to try them. [ Reply | More ]

is she actually getting anything while she nurses? you may want to pump to make sure. otherwise, she needs the sucking to sleep. its ok for babies to cry just a bit, they may just be tired. [ Reply | More ]
