my mil told me yesterday that a grandmother's love is more intense than a mothers. this was after i said "he's the apple of my eye" to which she responded "mine too, mine too". should i bar her from my house? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

toxic. DH needs to talk to her when she insults you like this. I would ignore and then have DH have a talk with her. My MIL is extremely toxic and we went to therapy and this is what was advised. It helped. We also avoid MIL for a long time. [ Reply | More
