How much debt do you have NOT including mortgage and student loan? How much savings NOT including retirement? Us--Debt: $2000. Savings: $70K. I know, it's insane I don't pay my cc debt outright, but somehow I feel like hitting the 70K mark was a milestone and don't want to be below that #. Silly. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

OP: You're right. It really is dumb. It's just that 3 years ago, we were $18K in debt and had not much in savings. And we don't own. Part of the $70K is going to preschool fees, so that number's an illusion anyway, but I just like to think we got to that number. [ Reply | More ]
