To the woman on a rampage about TT privates because her dc was rejected everywhere, please let it go. No one wants to be around such bitterness and fury. This is going to alter your relationship with friends, your dc, and your husband and then you will really have something to complain about. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

you know, i can tell by reading your posts that you are a failure in your own right. Probably supported by your dh. Never made much of yourself, other than mothering a kid who may have gotten into a good private school. its the way you cling so desperately to the identification with your dc's school, and feel so muc a part of the 'we" of the TT. it is sort of sad. gross distortion of it as expressed by the failed women you seem to represent. Yes, my story is somewhat true, but I exaggerated the bitterness. I think what is more interesting is your anger and desperation to be part of the club. people like you will suffer when your dc ends up placing poorly in college, because so much about you is tied up in this. Perhaps if you have a dd, she will end up like you. clinging to her leg status, not working or creating, and raising average dds but feeling they are superior by virtue of their tiny private school.
