what are the best school districts in Manhattan (for public schools)? Thinking about moving back to the city and have no idea where the best areas would be to buy. tia [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

UES and east side generally, except for 198's zone and LES. Or downtown in the village, Tribeca, Battery Park area. UWS for 199 and 87 are good (generally 65th to 79th Streets) [ Reply | More ]

I use the insideschools.org map but I would call the school for specifics. [ Reply | More ]

you might be confusing your terms. Districts are big land areas, D1, D2, D3 etc. that contain lots of zoned schools. The zone is for one school [ Reply | More ]
