went to pick up ds at school today. they said he had a rough morning and was disruptive, so they punished him by witholding his snack--they said they had saved it for me and told him mom could give it to him after school. guess what it was--a sugar free cupcake--filled with sorbitol and other crap. and since when is witholding snacks discipline at daycare? how should I handle this one? It's ridiculous to withhold snack--no wonder the kid was cranky, but why was that the snack? Do they provide snacks, or do you send one with ds? [ Reply | More ]

no--they provide snacks, and a crappy one at that--not at all what they are advertising...and ita that to withold snack for a cranky kid is counterproductive. [ Reply | More ]
