Pregnants UBers: Please get a hold of yourselves. Why such insatiable need for reassurnace? If you're pregnant chances are you will have a healthy, full-term baby. There are so many things to worry about why make yourselves crazy with unnecessary prenatal tests, needless concerns about the pregnancy progressing "normally" and - gasp - gaining 2 more lbs. than the next mom. Cool it - you will have pleeeeenty to worry about in the forthcoming years - think of all the vaccine, plastic bottles and tt schools to fret over! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

While I can appreciate that a more positive and relaxed attitude toward pregnancy would be ideal, I thought we could come to UB to ask questions and have fellow woman help alleviate some of our worries. Yes, there will be countless issues to worry about eventually, but I don't think it's fair to dismiss pregnancy worries like that. There are always more experienced women out there, but your "first time" is always nerve racking, no matter what it is (pregnancy, vaccines, bottles, etc.) [ Reply | More

Maybe so but during my first and subsequent pregnancies I had a lot of faith that I like millions of women before me would be fine. The level of distress and anxiety I see here is so sad to me - what a waste of energy. [ Reply | More
