How often is your DH alone with your kids? Mine has done one evening and one overnight business trip that I took in five months since #2 came along. I can't keep count of how many days/nights/entire weekends I've done this. He does not understand at all how hard it is to manage an infant and a toddler at the same time. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Try putting the baby to bed while the toddler is in front of T.V. it doesn't have to be perfect just get through it. [ Reply | More

I have meetings or choir practice, book club etc at least once a week and he keeps her whenever I need to go do something on the weekends. I left her with him for a weekend once. [ Reply | More

Saturday is Daddy's day and he is in charge. During the week he travels often and has many late nights, but this works for us as I cna look forward to the break and look forward to time together. [ Reply | More

Saturday at least 1/2 the day. Sometimes in the evening I got out w/ girlfriends and he's with them. But he works a lot and travels, so usually I'm the one with them. [ Reply | More

my dh has been alone with my kids exactly two weekends of his life - if you're talking about overnights. he has no prob having them on random nights or for a few hours on the weekends. but i've only been gone overnight twice. [ Reply | More
