Going to do sleep training this weekend on dc, and I can't decide if to do it for naps at the same time as nighttime. For my first dc, we did nightime first, and I think it created confusion that naps were with a lot more soothing, paci, etc. So I'm tempted to do it all together this time. But is that just too much for the kid to handle at once? Can't make up my mind. What have others experienced? Thanks. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Sleep training? You mean cio? You don't need to use euphemisms here. [ Reply | More ]

I think it helps to have the same routine for both if nao is in the same place as the sleep. [ Reply | More ]

Sorry- didn't mean to "hide" it. Yes, CIO. Or Ferber. [ Reply | More ]

we did CIO at night only, never with naps, mainly because I just couldn't handle all of the crying at both times. Eventually, the night-time and naps pretty much sorted themselves out, so I don't think you have to do the naps. [ Reply | More ]
