What is Friends like? Seems like a religious type school but it is Quaker. What does that mean? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

No alcohol allowed at school functions held in the school, no lotteries or games of chance in school, a low endowment because "hoarding" is not allowed--these beliefs all seem quite dogmatic to me. [ Reply | More ]

I just choked on my coke. Certainly not the one in manhattan. It's mostly about celebrity, connections and money these days...and ethics?? Give me a break...they have the one of the most UNethical admission procedures among the private schools. Definitely ranks up there with the Dalton basement interview and St Ann's line of "your dc is perfect for our school" [ Reply | More ]
