don't normally drive, what's the best way to get out of brooklyn onto 80 (to PA) tonight around 8pm? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Where are you in bklyn? Shortest way is to take fdr drive to harlem river drive to GW Bridge. Crossing at GW bridge puts you directly on 95, which becomes 80. But, to avoid Manhattan traffic, you could cross into NJ via Staten Island (Verrazanno and Goethals bridges) and take another road up to 80 (maybe the turnpike, can't recall). [ Reply | More

I would never go through manhattan and the GWB to get to Pennsylvania. Take the Verrazanno and Goethals over Staten Island [ Reply | More
