If you knew your mom had a terminal illness, but you didn't know how long you'd have with her - -how would you change the way/amount you spend time with her etc.?? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

well obviously I would spend as much time as I could with her and let her see DD as much as possible. I would also try to stop hating her idiot boyfriend. Sigh [ Reply | More ]

I would spend as much time as I could, but knowing my mother, I would want a confirmed diagnosis first. sadly, I think she would lie to me about this. [ Reply | More ]

I probably wouldn't. She lives in CA, I'm in NY with two young dcs who don't fly well. We're not v close and she hasn't made much effort to see her grandkids. She's very resistant to most traditional healthcare, preferring to see her homeopath for most ailments, which I have trouble getting my head around, but it's not my decision [ Reply | More ]
