I didn't, but my sister and my SIL both did; both stayed in their homes throughout (about 4-6mos) [ Reply | More ]

FWIW, we attempted to complete a kitchen reno--a major gut job with taking walls down, etc--before we moved in to our last apt. All that happened before we moved in was the old walls came down, new ones went up. All else happened while we lived in the apt (700 sq ft one bedroom with 2 cats). We survived, but it was not fun.
