My 4 mo (this Sunday) is acting differently....he is sleeping so much more. He found his thumb, so now he just likes to be left alone to suck on his thumb. He is much more independent. He is still pretty smiley and alert when he is awake, but should I be at all concerned about his many naps? And he is sleeping like 11 hours w/o waking at night very often. I'm not trying to brag at all. I know that it's uncommon and I would like some advice. Should I try to remove his thumb and make him interact more? I do talk to him and sing and read books and do tummy time and take him on walks so it's not like he's lacking in activity or anything, but I'm just so used to him sleeping fitfully and talking more only a few weeks ago. Anyone else btdt? Thanks... [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

could just be a grown spurt and could just pass. I would let him keep doing what he is doing. [ Reply | More ]
