Need ideas of what to do on crappy weather Sunday's with year old dd. Any indoor playspaces around like Gymboree (private parties on Sundays)? Is she a good age for the Children's Museum? Thanks! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Where do you live? I live on the UES so I am most familiar with stuff to do right near me, but here are some things: Asphalt Green swimming drop-in; Children's Museum - there is a play area for kids under one. It gets a little annoying but so does sitting in your apartment; A-ha Learning Partners on 84th and 1st; New York Kids Club might have things; Perry Street something - a kids place in the W. Village might have something; Drop + Dine downtown (you go to lunch, they babysit); For the winter, the best deal ever will be the 18-24 month tiny tumblers class at the 92nd Street Y. It is like $12 per time (not drop in). You can also run around The Met. [ Reply | More ]
