My DH and I have hit a rough patch. We definitely need to talk to someone, and going to a social worker just wasn't solving anything. I think we need a psychiatrist who does couples counseling. Does anyone have any suggestions -- would prefer a man. And they must take United Healthcare. Even if you make a suggestion but aren't sure about the insurance it would be much appreciated. Thanks so much. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

what you want is a psychologist, a psychiatrist usually doesn't do counseling, they just prescribe meds. [ Reply | More ]

They don't all do it, but some do. I have gotten a couple of names but would prefer to go to someone that comes recommended....even if it's by strangers! [ Reply | More ]
