Honestly, I don't remember. You will likely just have to do a light sanding and then repaint with the special anti-rust paint they have for metal furniture (spray paint). [ Reply | More

Rustoleum is the most common of those paints. If you are doing a lot of painting, it would be a lot better to buy one of those cheap sprayers (under $100) or rent a decent one and use paint from a can rather than spraying it on from dozens of spray paint can. [ Reply | More
