My son is 2yrs and 8months. He can count, but cannot recognize his numbers - if i show him the number 5 he does not know that it's five. He just guesses as to which # it is. Should he know them by now??? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

not at that age, it is perfectly developmentally appropriate to recognize numbers (i.e. now they are not letters) but not to differentiate between them [ Reply | More ]
