opinions please -- dh takes a job making a lot more $$ but tons more hours even though we were still discussing the quality of life changes involved -- didn't tell me he was going to take the job and took it. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

My situation has always been like that, so I can't imagine a scenario where dh would work more. But there were a few points in his career where he had some big decisions to make about where to work and we usually talked it over a little but--but I left the decision up to him ultimately. But if I were working as well I think it would be strange not to be consulted at all about scheduling changes, etc. [ Reply | More
