I'd suggest FLOR. They are chic stylish modular carpet tiles. If one tile gets stained, yank it out and replace with a brand new one! They are touting to be environmentally friendly. The backing is "a non-toxic antimicrobial preservative that prevents mold growth". They will also take back unused tiles and pay for shipping. Design Within Reach is where it first caught my eye.
