Ds is taking the ERBs in a week and a half. He's completely clueless. I've just said we have a day planned when he's on break from camp. But I'm really anxious. It's bumming me out. I'd love to forget about it myself but I know the waiting until the test and the waiting for the scores will bug me. This year is gonna suck! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I am pretty sure I"m not. Right now it's about not letting my anxiety get the better of me. It's just that DH and I have planned a bit our thinking for ds around the score. If he bombs, we actually will pull him from preschool and send him to public (he's a 2003 september boy so can go either public this year or private next). [ Reply | More

Frankly he's the kind of kid that could do anything from 80 - 99 so who knows? He got an 81 on the ERB last fall, a 94 OLSAT and 98 SB. All over the place. I think the not knowing is also what's getting me. [ Reply | More

Excellent. Proves the point about the randomness of testing preschoolers. But frankly I'm not one of those who thinks if he doesn't get into the good school he'll never get into college. I'm just focused on making sure he gets the right education right now. [ Reply | More
