what does bedrest mean exactly? lying around on the couch, horizontal on the bed, feet up on the table? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

can mean all but depends on the order from the Dr. My sis went from being able to sit up in a chair with legs up to in bed completely. I've even heard of some pts having to be in the hospital bed with the head of the bed downward [ Reply | More

depends. For some people it means staying off their feet as much as possible but you can still move around some. For others it means you get out of bed only when you have to pee and no other time [ Reply | More
