I am renting a beach house for the month. Spoke to two families about sharing it/costs. One I thought would say no because they are always complaining about money, have only one working parent, we don't know them as well. Also spoke to my bf from college who makes well above 600K. First family said yes immediately, the house is in a nice area, 4 bedroom, and cost only $2000. Bf from college needed pictures, and address to scout it out, etc. I am renting the house from a work client so I can't be a big pain in the ass about it and I explained this to bf. Finally I told her everyone else has committed to this house sight unseen based on price and company, and if she needs more than that to commit at this point I can't help her. I am annoyed because this bf committed to much more money for a cabana at an Atlantic beach club last year, and I feel it is very indicative of her making me feel like the b-list friend. I know there are other people that she would have committed 3X as much to sight unseen. Are these grounds to finally end this friendship? BTW, I did send her two pictures but she needed more.
