How do I dump a friend? How will she take it if i just stop returning her calls? Have you ever done this? Why? How did it work out? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

It depends on a lot of things like how close you have been, how long you have been friends etc. If you stop returning calls she should get the hint. [ Reply | More

I am on the other side of this right now and let me tell you it is painful. My suggestion is, if they ask what's going on to tell them and be a adult about it. Right now I am in the dark and it sucks. Otherwise, that is certainly the way to do it, stop contact. [ Reply | More

Ah - I want to "dump" a friend too, but she just started working in my department. It's so hard, and I just feel like a major bitch. But I've recently realized that both she and her husband are both mentally unstable and I don't want to be involved with them anymore. WHAT do I do?!
