doorman is constantly tickling 16 mo db (arms, legs, chest, etc) every time we exit/enter building. I am really not crazy about this but I know he means no harm and don't want to offend him. WWYD? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

there is not really a way to know if it bothers db, since laughing during tickling is basically involunatary. [ Reply | More ]

That would annoy me -- in general I don't like tickling because I think it bothers many kids but because they "laugh" from the tickling it seems like they enjoy it. I'd try to come in very quickly and say hi without stopping to avoid the opportunity. It's not about it being a doorman, it's about people doing this constantly. I know grandmotherly types who are neighbors who also do this. The problem with the doorman is it is harder to avoid since you see him alot. [ Reply | More ]
