playdate happening next week with 4 kids from my DD's new K. i assumed it would be moms, but people are sending nannies. i did not mean to invite the nannies. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

People work, shocking isn't it? Isn't the playdate for the kids to meet? And it is good for you to meet the nannies if you want to do playdates next year, you get to see them in action before you decide if you want to let your dc go to their house on a playdate. [ Reply | More

well nothing is ever going to work for everyone. you can't do much later in the evening bc then some people's kids go to bed, etc. i'm just saying that on a weekday, a wohm can leave work a bit earlier than usual for an evening function versus taking a day off. [ Reply | More

I'm usually really clear when I set up playdates. I will say something like this: ds and I are free on Wed. if you and your ds are free to meet. If you aren't, maybe we can find another time for our sitters to get togehter with the kids. [ Reply | More
