My 2yo has become completely impossible and she is all about daddy right now too - I feel like my dh an I become at odds - it is really making me crazy and I need to learn to cope, I know - but not sure how to....any good recs and disciplin strategies? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

the whole daddy phase is normal. don't take it personally, otherwise, you have a looooooong road ahead of you. talk to dh about being consistent in terms of discipline and make it clear what is important to you. be consistent with your dd. it does get better (for a while anyways-i found 4's way harder than 2) [ Reply | More

it's a stage - and it happens with lesbian co-parents too, btw. our dd became all about my partner for a while. which, for me, felt a bit like a relief. i find karp's "happiest toddler on the block" helpful for understanding and responding to the challenges of toddlerhood. [ Reply | More
