Any suggestions for my dd (16 mo) that has been refusing milk for the last two months. Doesn't like yogurt much. Giving her cheese everyday, but how much calcium can she really be getting? Also drinking calcium-fortified OJ everyday. Ped says it is not enough, but I've tried everything! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

If she refuses milk, then don't torture her. Look for vegetable sources of calcium. [ Reply | More ]

I'm pretty sure a serving of cheese has about as much calcium at milk. It's basically milk that is cultured and concentrated by taking all the whey out. [ Reply | More ]

I used to add either stawberry or chocolate syrup to regular milk. They liked that. I used less and less and in a month, they liked regular milk [ Reply | More ]
