Live-in vs live-out nanny, what's the price difference per week for full time, 12 hour days, no weekends? Also 2 vs 1 kid, what's the difference? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

When we had a live-in we started out paying a certain amount for approx 40 hours a week of work. When she ended up working much more than that (because she was fantastic and very helpful) we upped her pay (after the first week, if I recall) [ Reply | More ]

afaik, you can get a live-in for the same price you would get a live-out nanny or slightly cheaper, but you get much more since a live-in works evenings, 6 days a week, and does houseworkd [ Reply | More ]

no difference b/c live ins work more by nature of being there - they are often resentful of this fact however. Nanny salary depends on how great the nanny is nowadays more so than no. of children. 60hrs per week @15/hr would be a good place to start. [ Reply | More ]
